Training – Introduction to social media
Newcastle Under Lyme BID (Business Improvement District) in conjunction with King Street Studios are producing a range of training and support sessions for businesses within the BID. A evening of exploring effective networking. You will learn about the benefits of using social media platforms and how to make the best use of them.
The sessions will be lead by experienced and knowledgable businesses within the field, giving real examples and practical suggestions to help support your business.
Social Media for your business can be a confusing and daunting medium to embrace. You may be using it already and looking to expand your marketing or change direction. During this course we plan to show you how to get the most out of the main platforms Facebook and Twitter by planning your strategy and tracking it’s success. The seminar will be interactive and we will discuss what you are currently doing and see if we can help inspire new ideas and different forms of engagement.
The three hour training session will cover the basics of Social Media Marketing for businesses, covering:
What is the right social media platform for your business?
What content should you be using?
Managing your Facebook page
Using Facebook analytics
Managing your Twitter Account
Using Twitter Analytics
Creating Social Media Strategy
We would suggest you bring your phone, tablet and or laptop to these sessions so you can see live what is being discussed.
The session, will be fun and interactive, with opportunities to share and discuss effective ideas along with time to put some of it into practice.
The session at King Street Studios from 6pm till 9pm , where Refreshments are included throughout the seminar.
